Lakers’ Teammate Drops Major News On LeBron James’ Injury Status! Hints At Possible Return

Los Angeles Lakers point guard Dennis Schroder recently passed a cryptic statement about the injury status of teammate LeBron James.

The four-time NBA All-Star LeBron James is arguably one of the best players in history and has been instrumental to the Lakers’ success in recent years, including their championship run in the 2019-2020 season. However, this year, the tables have turned as the veteran has struggled all season with frequent injuries and failed to carry the team into the postseason, particularly into the playoffs.

Lakers key forward LeBron James has been out of action for several weeks due to a right foot tendon injury he sustained in a game against the Dallas Mavericks earlier this month. The Injury was initially expected to sideline James for only a few games, but after medical tests, the team ruled him out for three weeks. Meanwhile, as James enters his final week of rehab, his teammate has spilled beans on his possible status.

Injuries have troubled Lakers star LeBron James all this season. After the nagging ankle injury healed, he twisted his right foot earlier this month, which ruled him out for three straight weeks. The Injury has come at arguably the worst possible time, as his absence has been a major blow to the team’s playoff aspirations. The Lakers are visibly struggling to book a spot in the playoffs. Moreover, the recent consecutive losses have further pushed the team down on the Western Conference table.

Hence, LeBron James’ return becomes more vital. Meanwhile, James’ teammate and point guard, Dennis Schroder, addressed the media ahead of Friday’s clash against the Dallas Mavericks. When asked about James’ injury status, Dennis played it safe and said he is not allowed to share many details at the moment. However, he did pass a cryptic comment saying he feels the “German doctors are great.” This could potentially mean that LeBron might be recovering well and could return within the set time frame. While no official word has come out from the Lakers camp, the fans have stayed highly optimistic.

Meanwhile, the LA Lakers’ train has once again derailed off the winning tracks. After losing to a lousy Rockets, the team faced Mavericks on Friday. While Kyrie Irving returned for the matchup, the Mavericks missed the services of Luka Doncic. The stakes were high for both teams as they both stood next to each other on the Western Conference points table, eyeing the playoff spot. The Lakers started off well and maintained a minimal lead throughout the game.

However, they lost the plot during the final minutes of the first quarter. With 0.6 seconds left on the clock, the game resumed after a timeout break. Irving made an aggressive attempt and threw a speedy past to Maxi Kleber. Maxi knew he had to hit a three-pointer to win the game. Hence, as soon as Maxi made the shot attempt, the buzzer went off, and the ball went straight into the rim as the Mavericks went bonkers in celebration. On the other hand, the Lakers stood in disbelief as they lost yet another crucial game.
