ICC T20 World Cup Warm-Up Matches Schedule Announced! Tickets Went On Sale For The Tournament

The countdown for the seventh edition of the ICC T20 World Cup has finally begun. The journey will begin from October 17, when the eight teams try to get the remaining four spots of the Super 12 Round of the tournament. On the other hand, from the very next day, the eight qualified teams will begin to warm up ahead of the formal start of the tournament. ICC finally announced the warm-up matches schedule of the upcoming T20 tournament. This warm-up session will begin on October 18 and will conclude on October 20. 

Team India will have their first warm-up match against England on October 18. Whereas their second warm-up match will be against Australia on October 20. After these two practice matches, India will officially kick off their ICC T20 World Cup journey against their long-time rivals, Pakistan, on October 24. 

   

ICC T20 World Cup: Warm-Up Matches Schedule

Each team will get to play two warm-up matches before the formal start of the tournament. During the course of three days, fans will get to see a total of eight matches. Below is the detailed schedule of ICC T20 World Cup Warm Up games. 

October 18, Monday

1: Afghanistan vs. South Africa – 3.30 PM – Abu Dhabi

2: Pakistan vs. West Indies – 3.30 PM – Dubai

3: New Zealand vs. Australia – 7.30 PM – Abu Dhabi

4: India vs. England – 7.30 PM – Dubai

October 20, Wednesday

5: England vs. New Zealand – 3.30 PM – Abu Dhabi

6: India vs. Australia – 3.30 PM – Dubai

7: South Africa vs. Pakistan – 7.30 PM – Abu Dhabi

8: Afghanistan vs. West Indies – 7.30 PM – Dubai

These warm-up matches will play an important role in boosting the morale of the team ahead of the tournament. Therefore, every team will try their best in order to win both of their warm-up matches and get a good start even before the official beginning of the tournament. 

ICC T20 World Cup: Tickets Went On Sale

ICC opened the doors for cricket fans all around the globe as the tickets for all the 45 matches of the ICC T20 World Cup went on sale on October 4. The super 12 round of the tournament will officially kick off on October 23 with a match between South Africa and Australia. The very second match of the tournament will replay the 2016 nail-biting world cup final between West Indies and England. On the very second day of the ICC T20 World Cup, the finals will finally see the most-anticipated match of the tournament between India and Pakistan.
