Brian Cashman, Yankees’ general manager, is putting together a team that would finally win the World Championships. A team who collects the best players every year to win the championship won the title 13 years ago. However, this time, the team looks packed and ready to explode when the tournament begins. But until then, New York has a training camp where they will have to build a left outfielder player.
There are some young players also who the Yankees are eyeing. Two such players are Brandon Mayea and Jason Dominguez Mayea plays in Dominican Republic Havana is expected to sign with the Yankees, whereas Dominguez signed with the Yankees in 2019. However, the 17-year-old Brandon remains the Yankees’ favorite youngster because of his top 10 list in his year’s class.
Although the Bombers are full of the best players, the outfield position remains vulnerable. However, the Yankees are not the only one among other MLB franchises. Boston Red Sox is another team with no idea about their shortstop position for the upcoming season. Meanwhile, Philadelphia Phillies sorted their team signing Trea Turner with an 11-year contract for $300 million.
The Yankees’ Have High Hopes For Carlos Rodon.
GM Brian Cashman believes that their new signing Carlos is a highly competitive player who will bring pride to the team. The Bronx Zoo signed the pitcher for six years in a $162 million deal. The general manager told everyone that Rodon’s desire to win was out of the world. Even the pitchers’ ex-head coach sings his praise, saying, “Every game he ever pitches, he goes to a different place”. When the team plays an important game, his focus also exceeds the required level of performance. However, the aggressive and winning mentality also acts as a liability sometimes. But the Yankees are sure that he will be a worthwhile signing.
Rodon’s high school said his mentality and confidence are the reason for his outshining at that level. Elliot Avent, who coached Roaden NC state, saw Rodon’s whole transformation from high school pitcher to third pick of the 2014 amateur draft pick. Carlos even helped the NC team to reach their first College World Series in 45 years. His massive body and strong left hand helped him throw an incredibly fast ball in his younger years. Winning remains a common objective between the Yankees and Roden. Meanwhile, the Yankees believe they are getting the best Roden despite his various career-hindering injuries.
