The Los Angeles Lakers’ playoff hopes returned along with Anthony Davis in the game against Antonio Spurs. His return marked their victory over the team, who are just below LA in the league table. Davis’ lethal performance on both ends of the court stopped the Spurs to only 104 points on the night. On the other hand, LeBron James put up a slower performance than in his recent games. However, Patrick Beverley scored an impressive 18 points to guide their team to victory.

After seeing an incredible performance from LeBron James in the derby game against the Los Angeles Clippers, he displayed a slower one last night. The 38-year-old only scored 20 points while giving the team more defensive support. Meanwhile, the most awaited player, Anthony Davis, makes his return back in the court action. He has missed the last 19 games in Purple and Gold, and the whole team has desperately missed him. Last month the eight-time All-star injured himself with a stress injury in his right foot. Following the injury, his recovery took him one month to fully recover and help his team reach the playoffs, which is a distant dream.
