The Red Bull’s advisor believes Max can instantly increase his speed whenever the situation demands him to. For instance, a penalty is around the corner, and Verstappen will increase the lead by 10 seconds. Moreover, Max can almost read the tires. He’s too decisive about tire management.
In Abu Dhabi, Marko said, Max went a step further than what others expected him to. That’s the reason why Marko says Max Verstappen has not reached his peak yet. However, Marko identified Verstappen’s weakness as well. The Red Bull advisor said Max can become a bit impatient when the car doesn’t perform as well as he expected. But Marko has full confidence on the Red Bull star that he’ll learn to handle himself well eventually.
