The Los Angeles Lakers fans are buzzing with excitement over the team’s new roster’s domination on the court against the Bulls.

The LA Lakers entered Thursday’s matchup wearing hearts up their sleeves. They lost a crucial game to the Chicago Bulls on Monday and sought revenge for the same on Thursday. Moreover, winning this game was of utmost importance as it would lead the team to the 8th spot on the West table. Hence, the Lakers knew the stakes were high and delivered just right.

As many as four players touched the double-figure mark, with Anthony Davis emerging as the lead scorer with yet another 38-point game. On top of that, the fans were ecstatic and left in complete awe of this new-look roster that managed to turn things around for the Lakers after the All-Star break. The team who once lagged on the 13th spot is now eyeing the crucial playoff berth.

The LA Lakers’ front office played a desperate gamble during February’s trade window. They shipped away key starters such as Russell Westbrook and Patrick Beverley and brought in young blood in the form of D’Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt, Malik Beasley, and Mo Bamba. At the time, the move was considered highly risky as no team in their right mind would overhaul their starting lineup in the last stretch of the tournament. But the Lakers knew things were not working out with the existing roster, and they demanded change.

Well, fortunately, the gamble did wonders for the team. After the All-Star break, the new-look Lakers are on an absolute rampage, winning game after game with aggressive intent. Despite injury concerns, the team has been going strong with enough help from the bench. Moreover, the same intensity was displayed in the Lakers’ recent matchup against the Bulls. For the first time, the entire key lineup came together, delivered, and how. LeBron James, Anthony Davis, D’Angelo Russell, and Austin Reaves scored 25, 38, 17, and 19 points, respectively. Moreover, fans and analysts alike are completely awestruck with the new roster and took to Twitter to express the same emotion.

Twitter Users Troll Pat Bev As The Purple And Gold Crush Bulls

Lakers vs. Bulls

Thursday night is the revenge night for the Los Angeles Lakers. When Chicago Bulls, led by ex-Laker Patrick Beverley, handed a humiliating defeat to the purple and gold, the team vowed revenge. Further, their turn came on Thursday, and they gave Pat Bev a taste of his own medicine. While Austin Reaves trolled him back with the “too small” gesture, the fans on Twitter dissed him and called him good riddance.

The fans pointed out that since Patrick left, the Lakers have advanced for good. On top of that, some fans even mocked his scoreless stint, as despite spending 25 minutes on the court, the point guard went back home with zero points. Certainly, it was a night to forget for Beverley as fans subtly warned him not to mess with the Lakers ever again.
