Although four championships with all the other accomplishments are enough, five always sounds better than four. In a debate against the greatest, LeBron always falls short because of his four rings compared to Michael Jordan’s six. But the Lakers are not making it easier on James to win more.
One of the biggest motivators of LeBron James’ longevity is his strong will to win at any cost. In his recent interviews, he has expressed his wish to win the most rather than play for the sake of playing. It takes a lot to become the best and everything to become the greatest. And some people think that the Lakers disrespect LeBron James when they steal his opportunity to win the titles. Hollywood could have easily sacrificed their draft picks to bring in some players who would have made the team a title contender.

There is no doubt that the Lakers could have traded picks to help LeBron with a strong support cast. The front office doubts James’ ability to win this season for LA because of the way the season turned out. Meanwhile, there is another person who questions the power of LeBron James as an NBA analyst. Skip Bayless has made his name criticizing the Akron Hammer as it brings more views to associate with the best in business. However, this time the analyst receives a blowback from the fans for talking foul about LeBron.
The truth is, I think LeBron was relieved he didn’t have to go stand by himself 15 feet away and make one free throw. No one has missed anywhere near as many close-game late-game free throws as LeBron since he came into the league.
