It estimates total followers, follower growth, engagement rate, and average brand value per post on Instagram. It is no surprise that the world\’s most followed Instagram celebrity Cristiano Ronaldo has topped the list of the most influential players in the world.
The 37-year-old footballer leads the globe with 480 million followers. Meanwhile, Lionel Messi, a longtime competitor, has 360 M followers, a 38% increase in only one year. Each post on Messi\’s account has a media value of $2.6 million. The Manchester United forward saw a 48% rise in followers while paying $3.5 million on average for each post in the previous year.
The Nielsen Gracenote report ranked players who will compete in the World Cup in November. Thanks to his massive following on the photo-sharing platform, Portugal Captian Cristiano makes a whopping amount of 3.4 Million euros for his single Instagram post.
