CHECKOUT: Yankees Manager Feels Juan Soto & Aaron Judge Will Have More Games Hitting Homers Together

In a major strategic move, New York Yankees trade 25-year-old generational star Juan Soto earlier this off-season to pair him up with another acclaimed hitter, Aaron Judge. The duo drew major hype pre-season with many projecting a major MVP battle between the two prolific Yankee teammates.

However, while Juan Soto has carried on business as usual, captain Aaron Judge’s struggles has been unprecedented. He had hit only three home runs in over 20 games until this Tuesday where the duo exploded with a dual home run game. Needless to say, Yankees skipper Aaron Boone was ecstatic and set high future expectations.

Juan Soto and Aaron Judge have already demonstrated their ability to deliver impressive performances individually in the past. But the prospect of them synchronizing their power at the plate has fans and analysts buzzing with excitement. Since Soto joined the New York Yankees via a trade earlier this year, fans have been waiting to see the duo in their finest form. While Judge’s struggle stripped fans of the delightful visuals, the wait finally ended this week as Aaron Judge and Juan Soto registered a dual home run game on Tuesday against the Oakland Athletics. After Judge exploded with a two-run homer at the bottom of the first innings, Soto added a solo shot in the sixth innings to extend the Yanks lead to 7-1.

It was the first time this season that Aaron Judge and Juan Soto homered in the same game back-to-back. Needless to say, the soothing sight hyped New York Yankees skipper Aaron Boone as he referred to the duo’s dual home run game as a warm and fuzzy feeling on a cold day. Not only that, Boone added that it won’t be the last time the fans would get to see Aaron Judge and Juan Soto homer in the same game. He expects a lot of fireworks from the dynamics duo in the future as the Yanks navigate their way to an exciting season. Indeed, the Manager’s statement reflects the team’s confidence in both players’ abilities to deliver at the plate consistently. With Soto and Judge anchoring the lineup, opposing pitchers face a daunting challenge every time they take the mound against the Yanks.

Aaron Boone had the most epic reaction on Aaron Judge-Juan Soto dual home run game against Athletics on Tuesday. He said the dual homer sight felt like a warm and fuzzy feeling on a cold day. Judge reacted to the same and said that he, too, felt warm and fuzzy after the Yankees’ 7-3 win over the Athletics.

“After every win, I feel warm and fuzzy. That’s a great line,” said Aaron Judge after the game. That being said, after a splashing comeback, the New York Yankees dropped the ball in the series finale to split the four-game series 2-2. It was a no-show from the hitters as, besides Jose Trevino, no player was able to post a run on board.
