CHECKOUT: Warriors’ Stephen Curry Gives Out A Positive Injury Update On Instagram

Stephen Curry scared the Dub Nation when he twisted his right ankle against the Chicago Bulls. It was last week when he sustained the injury, and since then, the Golden State Warriors played a couple of games. Both games were against the San Antonio Spurs. In the one game at Chase Center, the Dubs lost horribly to the SA Spurs 126-113. It was a blowout loss for the Warriors. Even in the game against the Bulls at home, when Curry injured himself, the GSW lost 125-122. Hence, the Warriors lost back-to-back home games before embarking on their road trip.

Anyhow, without Steph, the Golden State Warriors were able to take revenge against the San Antonio Spurs in their territory. The Dubs beat the Spurs in San Antonio 112-102. On Wednesday, the GSW will face off against the Dallas Mavericks. However, it is highly unlikely that Stephen Curry will return to the lineup on Wednesday. After the injury, the initial reaction was Steph’s not returning in 7-10 days. However, the Dub Nation wants the talismanic leader to return as soon as possible. Lately, the three-point King posted an IG story to give an update on his ankle.

Last week, the three-point King appeared to exit the game against the Chicago Bulls after spraining his ankle with four minutes remaining. Eventually, the Warriors lost the game. When Curry left, the Dubs were leading 112-110. But finally, they lost 125-122 to the Bulls. Stephen Curry had rolled his right ankle on a move to score quite near the end of the fourth quarter. Initially, Steph limped around the court trying to walk. But when he realized it was no good attempting to walk and run, he left the court.

Later, the three-point King had an MRI that showed no structural damage to the joint. Hence, he is doing his best to recover as soon as possible. Lately, the three-point King took to Instagram to post a story showing he dipped his leg in an ice bucket. It means that Steph is trying to get the swelling down. Hence, he may not be ready to play in the next three or four games. Can the Warriors maintain a winning streak without their maestro? In the absence of Steph Curry, the onus is on Klay Thompson. Curry’s Splash Brother did well against the Spurs in the last two games, scoring 27 and 21, respectively.
