Stephen Curry has been trying his best to help the Golden State Warriors maintain a winning streak this season. However, the Dubs have been through a really tough time in the current season. It seemed at one point that the Dubs Dynasty was about to collapse, and they were not going to make the postseason, which is still possible. Moreover, things started going downhill when Draymond Green received back-to-back suspensions. Green’s absence really put the Dubs into the backfoot. It shows how important Green is to the whole lineup, as his return helped the Warriors find a new winning streak. Moreover, Stephen Curry is still averaging around 28 points per game.

That’s what the Dubs need, along with Klay Thompson, who must find some consistency. Thompson really struggled this season initially with his shooting consistency. In the end, it all comes down to the same Dubs trio who won four titles together. Now, the Dub Nation will hope to see the trio of Green, Curry, and Thompson get stronger than ever to help the team win one more title together. Recently, Stephen Curry explained what they need to do from now on to help the team make the postseason.

Recently, in an interview with Malika Andrews of ESPN, Steph mentioned the key is to start winning at home. Previously, they always had a homecourt advantage. But currently, the Warriors are .500 at home. Hence, it is important to protect the homecourt advantage that they had before. Then, they can try to play better on the road against the top teams. Moreover, they had some fourth quarters that did not go their way this season. That’s the reason why they are lingering around 9-10 in the standings and are not around 5-6, feels Curry.

Moreover, Stephen Curry mentioned that if they can take care of the home court, they can then steadily climb through the remaining 30 games. Adding to that, Steph is confident about the team they are and feels they have to find a way to make the postseason. It does not matter to Steph if the Warriors have to go through the play-in tournament or after climbing through to the top six. Steph Curry believes no opponent in the Western Conference would like to see them in the playoffs. They know how tough the Dubs can be. What if the regular season ended today? Then, the Warriors could qualify for the play-in tournament.

Against the Utah Jazz last Thursday, Klay Thompson came off the bench for the first time since his rookie 2011-2012 season with the Warriors. Instead, the rookie Brandin Podziemski got the starting spot of Klay. Stephen Curry told Malika Andrews that it was weird for him. Moreover, Curry mentioned that he came off the bench a couple of times and saw Klay start generally.

Hence, it was weird to switch roles. But Steph was very happy with the way Klay responded after getting the new role. Moreover, Steph stood for Klay’s current season, saying a lot of narratives around his season have been unfair. Especially because Klay is coming from injury.
