All he needs to do is to “Stay on the mound,” feels Rodon. He is confident that he can bounce back hard this year. Then, Rodon can step up as the No. 2 starter behind the reigning American League’s Cy Young winner Gerrit Cole. Earlier in his career, Carlos Rodon had to deal with injury woes as well. Despite these injury issues, Rodon had a breakout year with the Chicago White Sox, and later, he moved to San Francisco.
Moreover, he performed well for the San Francisco Giants. As a result, he became an All-Star in back-to-back seasons (2021 and 2022). That’s why the Yankees landed Rodon with a huge contract last winter. However, he struggled in his first year with the Bronx Bombers owing to injuries. He would never want to repeat that. Yankees Relying On Rodon And Stroman
