However, while Judge is happy to see Luis thrive in the Mets, he low-key wishes that the pitcher had a resurgence in pinstripes instead. “I wish he was still here in pinstripes having this comeback season, but he’s still in New York,” Judge said to the NY Post. Not only that, Judge argued that perhaps the change of scenery worked in Severino’s favour as his numbers have been far better compared to his post-Covid era days. Also, the pitcher has not been hurt this year. He came off through a normal off-season, which helped with the overall build-up. Indeed, Luis Severino seems much better with the Mets. Judge To Play DH In Subway Series Vs Mets
In a major shuffle to the New York Yankees starting lineup, captain Aaron Judge is expected to move as the designated hitter for the upcoming series against the New York Mets. Giancarlo Stanton is hurt and sidelined for four weeks with a hamstring strain. He was put on IL last Sunday as Judge played DH on the very same day.
