Aaron Judge is undeniably the most essential player in the current New York Yankees franchise. He is their 16th captain in the franchise history. He also broke the all-time regular season home run record in the American League in 2022. As a result, the NY side’s captain went on to win the AL MVP that year. There is a good possibility that by the end of his career, Judge will be among the most home-run hitters in baseball’s history. But the New York Yankees fans would want the captain to lead the side to their 28th World Series triumph.

However, the Bronx Bombers have not made it to the “Big Dance” in a really long time. The last time they appeared in the World Series was in 2009. But this offseason, the front office made some crucial changes that should help the team make the postseason in the first place. Moreover, the Yankees captain must stay healthy to see through the team making the postseason and go even further. Clearly, Aaron Judge is one of the best players in the league. And he deserves a place in the fantasy baseball draft.

Everybody knows the supreme talent of the Yankees captain to hit home runs. But Aaron Judge’s stolen base upside is not as good as Mookie Betts or Ronald Acuna Jr. However, the Yankees captain deserves a place in the top five picks of the 2024 Fantasy Baseball drafts. Needless to say, Ronald Acuna Jr. deserves the number one spot for this year’s campaign because of his elite stolen base as well as his ability to hit home runs. Anyway, Aaron Judge can still give a good fight for the Number Two spot. But the consensus of the experts of fantasy baseball ranks the Yankees captain third as they rank Mookie Betts in second place.

However, it is highly unlikely that any other player would get above Aaron Judge than Betts and Acuna Jr. This offseason, the Yankees have been the most improved outfield in terms of WAR. That should help Judge in the case of the counting stats. Clearly, the Bronx Bombers have improved their offense immensely. It really should raise the fantasy baseball floor of Aaron Judge. But most importantly, the Yankees captain must stay healthy. Then, the fantasy experts can check the winning homers and RBI numbers.

The New York Yankees made sure they solved their outfield issue this offseason. They had the second-worst batting average in 2023. Only the Oakland Athletics were worse than them. Hence, they needed reinforcements in their offense. That’s what they successfully managed to do this winter.

Moreover, the addition of Juan Soto and Alex Verdugo should really help Aaron Judge play with much less pressure on his shoulders. Last year, he was the only superstar. And when he got injured that was the end of hope for the Yankees Nation. But this time, the fans can really have high hopes on their offense.
