Aaron Judge

2022 is the season of Aaron Judge in Major League Basketball. Even though his team, the New York Yankees, seemed off-color in the middle of the season, he carried them to the ALCS on his shoulders. Now, it has come true. Judge is crowned the Player of The Year, defeating Shohei Ohtani by two votes.

Shohei Ohtani And Aaron Judge

Now, it remains to see who will win the AL MVP Award. Shohei Ohtani, a standout for the Angels, is reportedly not as popular as he is. Seemingly, the two-way sensation for the Angels was a nominee for the American League Outstanding Player and Players\’ Choice MLB Player of the Year awards. But MLB players chose Judge in both cases.

Last year, Ohtani also earned the American League MVP title in addition to both of those honors. The Baseball Writers\’ Association of America makes the decision for the POTY award. And looks like Ohtani and Judge are this year\’s front-runners for the MVP award. On Monday, the names of the top three finishers will come out. Nov. 17 will see the announcement of the winner.
