In April, the Yankees made Judge a seven-year, $213.5 million offer. Aaron Judge turned it down. He acknowledged at the time that he was frustrated that contract talks broke down since he had hoped to work exclusively in the Bronx for the duration of his career. Nevertheless, five days after the World Series ended, despite his spectacular season, he started corresponding with other teams.

In Judge\’s seven-year tenure with the Yankees, he hit 220 home runs during the regular season.
