Yankees Aaron Judge

Aaron Judge continues to carry forward the New York Yankees offense during the 2022 season. With the three-time All-Star\’s performance this year, it could be incredibly impossible for the Yankees to stop him from becoming a free agent at the end of the season. Judge continued to hammer home runs during the Yankees\’ Monday loss against the Baltimore Orioles by 4-6. The 30-year-old added two more to his tally during the home game at the Yankees Stadium.

Judge had his fourth multi-homer game of the season, taking his tally to a total of 17, the highest in MLB\’s 2022 competition. The Yankees\’ right fielder told that he was just trying to do his job just like everyone else in the building. The two-time Silver Slugger winner hit a solo home run during the first innings before hitting a two-run shot in the fifth. Judge became the fifth player in the franchise history to hit 17 home runs in the team\’s first 42 games. He joined the likes of Mickey Mantle(20), Babe Ruth(19 in 1928, 18 in 1930), Alex Rodriguez(17), and Tino Martinez (17).

Is Judge The Best Slugger In The MLB League This Season?

Judge has appeared to be one of the best hitters in the league. The Yankees will try their best to hold him off longer as he plans on becoming a free agent after the season. The Bombers offered Judge a deal, but it was not lucrative enough for the star slugger to accept it. Hopefully, the Yankees will be able to negotiate a deal with Aaron Judge before he makes a move to leave the franchise.

Talking about Judge, Gerrit Cole revealed that he felt like Aaron was \”salivating\” for some things. Sometimes Gerrit feels that Judge is a great basketball player as he stays in the middle and drills the ball the same way. The Yankees pitcher thinks Aaron is making better swings than they are throwing.

The Pinstripers manager Aaron Boone also praised Aaron Judge for his performances this year. Boone said sometimes he feels that he takes Judge for granted. Moreover, the manager added, \”But not right now. He\’s really carrying us offensively.\”

The 30-year-old is averaging .325 with 17 home runs. Moreover, Judge has an RBI 34 with a 1.113 OPS. Hopefully, Aaron will keep firing for the Yankees as they continue to cruise ahead during their 2022 campaign.
