The Golden State Warriors are going through a rough patch. Clearly, they are finding it hard to maintain a winning streak. They had a very inconsistent start to the current season. Albeit, the seven-time champions started with a win, they lost their way. Most significantly, the back-to-back suspensions of Draymond Green had an adverse effect on the team. Even the Dubs Nation feels worried after the veteran forward received his second suspension so early in the season.
Lately, they lost two consecutive games against the Denver Nuggets and the Miami Heat. In both these games against the previous season’s finalists, Stephen Curry had pretty underwhelming outings. On the other hand, Klay Thompson had an even more inconsistent season so far. When the Splash Brothers are not on song, the Warriors find it even more difficult to get back to winning ways.
After The Loss Against The Heat, Klay, And Steph Seemed Dejected
The loss against the Miami Heat was even more painful as the Warriors were playing at Chase Center. In 32 minutes, Steph Curry managed to score only 13 points on a 3 of 15 shooting from the field. When the Dub Nation expected Klay Thompson or some other guy to step up and score more points than Steph, nobody did. Klay too scored 13 points on 4 of 11 shooting. In the post-game moments, fans could see the Splash brothers have a somber moment together. Steph Curry as usual covered his face with a towel.

On the other hand, Klay Thompson kept staring at space. Gradually, Steph got up and started walking towards the locker room. Moreover, the Golden State Warriors had a very shaky start this season. In fact, they started with a 6-2 record. But then lost their way. The Splash Brothers have the task of ensuring the two-game losing streak doesn’t turn into any more damage. On top of that, the Dub Nation still hopes to see the Warriors make the postseason.
Dray Green’s Absence Really Affected The Warriors In A Bad Way
It was during the first suspension of Dray Green when the Dubs started losing back-to-back six games. Later, they went on to win five games on the trot. But again, at present, they have lost a couple of games in a row. Clearly, something is wrong with the Golden State Warriors team in general. However, the team looks to have a good bunch of young players as well as the experienced tripod. Albeit, Dray Green won’t be back before the next three weeks.
Hence, until Dray comes back the Warriors won’t have their ideal starting lineup. As a result, Steve Kerr needs to find the best rotation available at present to get back to winning ways. Clearly, they are struggling as they are down below in the West. The GSW is the 11th seed in the Western Conference. While they were on the five-game winning streak, they rose to the 10th seed. But losing against the Denver Nuggets on Christmas Day did not make the Dub Nation happy at all.
