He failed to execute the fastballs. On top of that, the Rays hitters targeted his good pitches, which further destroyed his confidence. Having said that, Rodon has vowed to keep refining his skill. He has five days gap period before his next start, which the pitcher wishes to put to good use. The New York Yankees doused the hype around the trade deadline as they ended with just two rental bullpen pieces. Naturally, the fans were disappointed. However, the captain, Aaron Judge, remains least concerned. After a 5-2 loss to the Rays, Judge was asked to react to the Yanks’ choice of not making any major moves. Judge said that the team’s destiny remains in their own hands. The current set of guys in the clubhouse are fully capable of turning things around.
