However, Rodon has apparently suffered from a strain on his throwing arm and will miss out on 6-8 weeks of baseball-related activities. The southpaw’s injury is a major cause of concern for the Yanks, as he was supposed to play second fiddle to Gerrit Cole in the rotation.
However, the Yankee fanbase has breathed a sigh of relief as the pitcher has escaped a major scare. According to his fresh MRI reports, Rodon has no UCL on his forearm. This means that his forearm has just some minor discomfort which is likely to heal in a short span of time.
