Lakers Struggling To Make It To The Playoffs After Constant Failures
On the professional front, LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers are having an awful season so far. They rank 12th on the Western Conference points table with 22-25. The club lost a lot of close matches in the middle which could now cost them the playoff berth. Moreover, the 38-year-old LeBron James has delivered back-to-back 30+ points games but is failing to close the games for the purple and gold.
On the other hand, the injury concerns in the camp have been the major concern for the team’s debacle. Anthony Davis and Lonnie Walker IV have been sitting on the bench since December. Hence, the entire weight of the team has been carried by LeBron James, who looks visibly frustrated with the team’s situation. AD is likely to return soon, and the Lakers have acquired Rui Hachimaru in the latest trade. Overall, the playoff berth is far from the club’s reach, and they need a miracle from hereon to hold that spot.
