For the first time, Mercedes became the car that faced porpoising issues. It was the most heartbreaking season for the seven-time world champion. He was supposed to beat max Verstappen and take his eighth title this year.
But just the opposite happened, Verstappen won again, plus Hamilton had to break his previous records too. However, it does not matter because not in 2022 but in 2023, definitely Lewis Hamilton will challenge Red Bull and win his lost title back. Despite the constant disappointments, despite recording the worst score last year, Lewis Hamilton reckons that next year will be bright. Next year, Mercedes will come back stronger and will beat Red Bull. Whatever happened in 2022 ended there. Now the Silver Arrows will not repeat the same mistake again.

As Lewis Hamilton and George Russell have been promised to get a flawless W14, they tend to be optimistic about the 2023 championship win. When the Seven-time world champion was asked to throw light on the upcoming season, he said, “I believe Mercedes is going to beat Red Bull.” Hamilton believes that with the hard work in the winter break, Mercedes will be able to make a competitive car that can challenge Red Bull, “I do believe that for sure,” he said.

However, the Briton doesn’t forget about what Ferrari can bring in the upcoming years. Speaking with The Mirror, Lewis Hamilton said, “I hope Ferrari becomes stronger in the following seasons.” The seven-time world champion and Ferrari ace Charles Leclerc indeed have a mutual feeling as both tend to be optimistic about each other.
Previously, Leclerc was also found to speak in favor of Hamilton. And now Hamilton has come out to speak positively about Ferrari. He believes that Ferrari had a tough season. But at times, they have shown strong signs. “This has been nice to see, it is really nice to see Ferrari doing so well again,” said Lewis Hamilton.
Like Charles Leclerc said, “I prefer a three-teams battle in 2023.” Lewis Hamilton says the same. He stated to the Mirror, “I hope it is more than a two-way battle next year. At least the three of us [Mercedes Red Bull and ferrari].” Now looks like Mercedes is increasing its number of well-wishers. Not only Lewis Hamilton, Toto Wolff, and Mercedes fans, but Charles Leclerc of Ferrari also expects the Silver Arrows to do great in the next season. After the 2022 season ended, Leclerc said, “Mercedes will definitely be there in the title contention of 2023.”
