Lakers’ LeBron James sent out prayers for Buffalo Bills’ Damar Hamlin after the latter collapsed on the field.
LA Lakers swept a perfect 121-115 victory over Charlotte Hornets last night. On top of that, their star player, LeBron “King” James, dominated the court yet again with 43 points. This is the Lakers’ 21st win of the season. And with this, they move one rank forward in the Western Conference points table.
After the game, LeBron took a moment and spoke about NFL player Damar Hamlin. He sent out prayers for the young lad and wished him a speedy recovery. During an NFL game on Monday, Damar collapsed and suffered a near-fatal cardiac arrest. He stays admitted to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and undergoing treatment.
LeBron James Prays For Damar Hamlin’s Recovery
Buffalo Bills locked horns with Cincinnati Bengals in an NFL game on Monday. However, tragedy struck the Bills. The 24-year-old Damar Hamlin had a hard tackle with Tee Higgins. Hamlin managed to get up but collapsed immediately. And it was reported that he suffered a cardiac arrest on the field. At that moment, the medical staff ran over to the field and gave CPR to Damar. Hamlin was then immediately taken to the hospital. And eventually, the game was called off owing to the gravity of the situation.
LeBron James is widely known to be a huge NFL fan. After hearing the tragic news, he sent out a message to Damar. James said that he felt terrible to see Hamlin in such a situation and that he was praying for the young boy and his family. He further hailed the authorities for their decision to cancel the game, considering the emotions of the players. Moreover, the King stressed on the importance of player safety in the field of sports.

Hamlin’s situation remains grim, and he is said to be in critical condition at the moment.
Lakers Back On Winning Track After LeBron’s Heroics
After suffering a humiliating loss against Miami Heat, the Lakers are finally back on the winning side. They won 2 back to back games owing to LeBron James’ magic. King James celebrated his 38th birthday in style by scoring 47 points against Atlanta Hawks on Saturday. As a result, the Lakers won the games with a scoreline of 130-121.
LeBron continued his domination in the following game versus Charlotte Hornets. He finished the game with a total of 43 points to his name. The Lakers fought neck to neck with the Hornets in the first quarter. But, managed to turn the table in the second quarter.
With this, LeBron James’s average has reached 45 points. He could soon break Michael Jordan’s record of playing the most 40-point games as a 38-year-old.
