The New York Yankees will need Juan Soto to get back to his natural best form. Lately, the MLB went through their All-Star week in Texas. It was a much-needed break for the NY side because they had been going through a slump since June 13. Prior to that, they were dominating the American League East division. Moreover, the Judge-Soto duo was making a lot of noise. Fans were beginning to believe that this duo can take the team to the World Series. But then the slump started, and the Yankees fell behind the Baltimore Orioles in the AL East.

Now, the first and foremost goal of the Bronx Bombers will be to regain their place at the top of their division. For that, they will need Juan Soto to start performing the way he was in the first couple of months. Lately, he has been through a bit of a cold stretch since his right-hand injury against the Toronto Blue Jays on June 28. Perhaps the All-Star break would rejuvenate the whole team, especially the Dominican superstar.

On Wednesday, the New York Yankees posted a video montage on X, previously called Twitter, showing Juan Soto having fun with his American League teammates. It was on Tuesday when the Dominican slugger earned his fourth MLB ASG honor. Moreover, it is great news for the Bronx Bombers as it is Soto’s first season with them, and he made it to the All-Star game. On the video montage, the Yankees documented some of the fun their 25 year old superstar had on Tuesday. That video shows Soto joking around with many of his AL teammates, especially his superstar partner in baseball crime for the Bombers, Aaron Judge. The 25-year-old MLB superstar looked lively as he usually is. Perhaps this cool and fun time on the field was exactly what he needed to return to his finest in terms of performance.

On Tuesday, he had a couple of plate appearances. At first, he had a walk, and on the second appearance, he had a two-RBI double. Eventually, it was crucial as the American League team defeated the National League team yet again. The AL team won 5-3. In the last 11 editions of the All-Star Games, the AL side has won ten times. The Judge-Soto duo partnered with Gunnar Henderson of the division rivals, the Baltimore Orioles, to help AL win their 10th ASG in the last 11 events of the Midsummer Classic.

It seems like Aaron Judge will run away with the 2024 AL MVP honors. That will be his second AL MVP. Meanwhile, his partner in baseball crime will look to have a tremendous debut season with the Yankees. Already, he had a great start in 2024. Moreover, he even won the Player of the Month award back in April. Now, Juan Soto is hitting a .295/.426/.558 slash line.

Over 94 games for the Yankees in the regular season, the Dominican slugger has hit 23 homer runs already, along with 66 RBIs. On top of that, he is leading the league with 79 walks and is a joint second place holder with 75 runs scored. Currently, the Yankees are 58-40 with a fourth best record in the MLB. They are a game behind the Orioles and in second place of the AL East.
