Things are just not going the New York side’s way. But the team is not willing to give up just yet. On the other hand, the Yankees fans have some reason to be happy after the news came out that the star pitcher Carlos Rodon will be back soon. As per The Athletic’s Chris Kirschner, the team is planning to include him in the rotation against the Washington Nationals on Tuesday. Moreover, it looks like Carlos is recovering pretty well from his injury. According to NJ.com’s Max Goodman, the team manager Aaron Boone mentioned Rodon threw a five-inning simulated game in Tampa.

Moreover, it looks like he is ready to return. Boone expects Rodon to bounce back in his recovery. Then the 30-year-old pitcher can be in the starting lineup at the Yankee stadium against the Nationals on Tuesday. If everything goes well, then Rodon’s comeback can raise hopes for the Yankees to make the postseason. However, to help the Yankees make the postseason, Carlos Rodon needs to do much better than his current season’s performance so far. Carlos Rodon posted a poor 1-4 record with a 7.33 ERA along with 25 strikeouts. He did not play many games, but he did struggle a lot.

It will be their worst season since the 1992 season. In the American League East, the Yankees at present sit last. Moreover, the Yankees cannot afford to sustain any more injuries coming to the fag end of the regular season. They have a lot to do to turn things around.
