Meanwhile, after signing Aaron Judge for such a huge amount, many believed that the Yankees to keep it down for other high-profile players. However, as per reports, the Yankees are aggressively preparing to attempt to sign both Carlos Rodon and Carlos Correa. The San Francisco Giants recently lost their chase of Aaron Judge. So, losing Rodon to the New York Yankees would be a significant setback for them.

On top of that, one of the top starters on the market is Carlos Rodon. Because the price of luxury free agents has increased, any club that wants to sign him will have to go deep into their pockets to do so. The left-hander, who turns 30 on Saturday, already has a sizable market. Teams like the Dodgers, Blue Jays, Giants, Mets, and Rangers, are linked to him during the free-agent period. According to NY Post\’s Jon Heyman, the Yankees are driven to add another arm to their roaster.

Carlos Rodón just completed consecutive All-Star seasons. Next seven years with the White Sox, where he culminated his career in 2021 with a remarkable 13-5 season with a 2.37 ERA. In 31 starts, he had a 2.88 ERA while pitching for the Giants in 22. He went 14-8 during the season. He had a WHIP of 1.028 and 237 strikeouts against opposing hitters.

The Giants and Yankees are currently the front-runners to sign Rodon. But it appears that a number of other clubs, including the Cardinals, are taking part in the fun as well. It would be interesting to see if they manage to capture Rodon or if they are the secret crew all along. The only thing that remains to be determined is who will be writing Carlos Rodon\’s checks this summer. But it is becoming increasingly obvious that he will receive payment in full.
