But I feel that’s possible at this stage in my career.” Steph added that winning has always been a priority, however, at the same time, he said it is important to be realistic. He said, “You need to reimagine and shake things up to stay relevant with where the league is right now.” Moreover, Stephen Curry said, “Honestly, I’m trying to take one step at a time.” He is keen to protect his own happiness. Finally, Curry said he will make the decisions that’s best for his career, keepin in mind, “I want to win.” Next season, he will make $55.8 million. Before his contract expires in 2026, he will earn a further $59.6 million.
Why The Three-point King Never Participated In Olympics?
Recently, in an interview with Marc J. Spears of Andscape, Stephen Curry mentioned that the stars finally aligned for him to participate in the Olympics. He said, in 2012, he didn’t get the chance because he was not ready for that level. Later, in 2016, Curry came off the NBA Finals run and thought he needed rest to get ready for the next season. That was a good decision in hindsight because the Warriors won in 2017 and again in 2018.
Curry’s team lost in the 2016 NBA Finals. Then, Stephen Curry felt in 2020, with COVID and all, it was just not a good time for him. But for this year, the Warriors talisman believes with the stars aligning, he feels great. Curry also had some time off for the ramp-up. Now, Team USA has arrived in Paris.
