Red Bull started dominating the grid for the first time, with Sebastian Vettel steering the wheel. The German driver helped the Austrian team win back-to-back four titles from 2010 to 2013. However, things changed drastically with the beginning of the turbo-hybrid era. Mercedes took over the hegemony, ousting the Austrian team from power. The dominating period of Mercedes stretched from 2014 to 2021. But the Milton Keynes team needs to thank their star driver, Max Verstappen, who has won ten races in a row and twelve overall this season so far.

Both Max Verstappen and his team can win the rest of the eight remaining races in 2023. Mostly, the fans feel, why can’t they do it? Red Bull has got the fastest car on the grid, RB19. This car has been absolutely superior to the rest of the cars at present. It can be one of the fastest of all time. Hence, Red Bull has a good chance with the car and the current double-time champion driver. However, Max Verstappen and his teammate are wary of the street circuit of Marina Bay, Singapore.

Sergio Perez won the last time in the Singaporean Grand Prix. Can he repeat that same feat? Moreover, Checo has been very inconsistent so far. After winning a couple of races at the beginning of the season, he started fading away since the Miami Grand Prix. If anybody can win the race, it is Max Verstappen. But the reigning champion did not sound as confident as usual. Max and Checo feel it won’t be as easy in Marina Bay for Red Bull as the whole season has been so far. Sergio Perez told the media, including PlanetF1, that anything is possible in the Singaporean Grand Prix.

Moreover, Max Verstappen mentioned it would be difficult, but they will see what they can do as a team. Adding to that, the Red Bull star mentioned it won’t be the strongest weekend for the team this season. But they will try to win it anyway. However, the Red Bull drivers feel it will be more difficult than Zandvoort and Spa. Sergio Perez mentioned that finishing on the front row is vital to win the race on the final day. Moreover, Red Bull boss Christian Horner mentioned that it is inevitable that someday his team will lose. Hence, it is not a question of ‘if’. Rather, it is a question of ‘when.’

Can Christian Horner’s Side Win It All?

Mercedes won eight constructor titles in a row. It was pretty painful for the Milton Keynes team. However, time changed again in the favor of Red Bull. After eight years, Christian Horner’s side won the constructor title in 2022. Moreover, it looks like nobody is going to stop them from winning it this year, either. The Austrian team is enjoying an enormous lead over the rest of the teams in the current season.

Currently, Red Bull has a lead of 310 points over Mercedes, who are in second place. They have been completely dominating the whole season. After 14 races, Christian Horner’s side still remains unbeaten. They are focusing on one race at a time. But F1 fans know that they have a great chance of becoming the first team to win all races in a season. It will be a historic achievement if they get to achieve that feat.
