The Los Angeles Lakers are a team filled with three superstars of the NBA. Teams are often divided among the superstars of Western and Eastern Conferences chosen by fans and different criteria. However, when the final voting list came out, one of the most crucial stars was left out of the picture. The All-star weekend is the most enthusiastic weekend in the NBA for the fans.
This one week gives fans an enormous opportunity to witness all the league’s superstars in one game. But it seems the fans won’t be able to catch Anthony Davis in the competition despite his high votes.
Anthony Davis To Miss The All-Star Action
The 29-year-old center had been phenomenal and outstanding in his game before he injured himself. His ability to endure and control the game at both ends of the court helped the Lakers overcome their lousy start to the season. Although the Lakers are still not steered clear of their playoff spot, Davis is the reason for their hopes alive. Hollywood’s campaign this year’s campaign has been nasty, but seeing LeBron and Anthony Davis has brought fans much joy. But all this did not secure him a spot at the All-star games, and reports suggest that it was his injury.
The fans are furious about deciding that Zion Williamson deserves an All-star spot instead of Anthony Davis. The two athletes have had a similar season in terms of their performance and injuries. Ironically, the two most dominant players who cover both ends of the court have played almost identical games. But Davis’ stats represent better numbers even when he played fewer games than Williamson. Even when the second voting was announced, the 2020 champ was 90 thousand votes ahead of the Pelican. And despite such deserving stats, Anthony Davis will not add another All-star to his accomplishments.
Anthony Davis was having an MVP season btw, that’s the person y’all robbed of the starting position on the All Star team. Like, is Zion even the best player on his team? Very debatable

Statistically, Davis Deserves It
In 26 games, Anthony Davis is averaging 27.2 points per game with 12.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.2 blocks. Whereas the Pelican Williamson is averaging 26 points, seven rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 0.6 blocks in 29 games. The fans are so furious that they are tweeting the stats and saying it is all an agenda. Meanwhile, the reports surround whether the 29-year-old will get a place as a reserve player in the event. Getting selected for an All-star event is a huge accomplishment as it shows how much fans love how one plays.
In the meantime, Anthony Davis made a great return from his hectic injury in the game against the Spurs on Friday. Although he scared fans with this trip as he rolled on the floor, he suggested that he was alright after the game. Davis will have to make his mark as he has a lot of work to do. All hopes now rest on the eight-time All-star to steer the Lakers’ boat to the postseason.
