It was a tough game for the LA side when they lost against a weaker team, the Grizzlies. But the James-led team has taken the lead again in the series to make the record show 2-1. However, it came with a very painful injury that Dillion Brooks gave him just at the start of the first half. Dillion was trying to steal the ball from King James, but he misplaced his hand around his groin. And instead of the ball, he ended up hurting James’ groin area, with him lying on the floor in pain.

The referees took immediate action to check whether it was a flagrant 2 worth foul or not. It was a quick decision, and he was immediately ejected from the floor. The check on the court was followed by more checks to confirm his suspension. However, the refs did not find his actions intentional, and he was not suspended from the next game. But this is not the first time that Dillion has done something like this in the postseason. This is the second consecutive postseason when Brooks has shown this flagrant two fouls.

LA Fans Hate Dillon Brooks

Apparently, Brooks was continuously booed in the Crypto Arena because of his comments on LeBron James. Brooks has been very vocal about his opinions on the Lakers team and especially LeBron. And it looks like the fans have taken him as a very good sport. “I’ve been dealing with this for two years now,” Brooks said. According to him, “It is what it is.” He does not seem to care much about what people around him think.

Dillon has been on the back of James because of his drowning performance. So, the tension between the Lakers and the Grizzlies is very tight. Meanwhile, James has not said a word about their conversation during the warmups. Dillon, on the other hand, said that James had told him about his birthday.
