In reply to that post, the former Houston Rockets shooting guard said he does not agree that Steph belongs to that list. Moreover, Tracy McGrady wrote Steph has been tripping on that. Not just top five, McGrady says, Stephen Curry has not even cracked his choice of top ten yet. McGrady says, “If you can’t lead the team to playoffs, you are not one of my top five or even top ten.” After McGrady’s comment went viral, there have been mixed reactions. There were some fans who agreed with him and some just could not agree with the former shooting guard. Can Stephen Curry Win His 5th Ring Next Year?
Steph led the Warriors to four NBA Championships in the period between 2015 and 2022. There were even a couple of NBA Finals that the Dubs lost in that period against the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Toronto Raptors. But talking about great players, Michael Jordan never lost an NBA Final series.
However, LeBron James and Stephen Curry could not manage to have that record. In the next offseason, the Dubs will have to make a lot of changes in their personnel.
