Formula One is a challenging sphere with excitement and thrills. While advanced technology plays a vital role, human precision is equally important. Whether it’s the technical team or the drivers, the skill set is the key to success. Therefore, like any other sport, “who is the best” debates are common in Formula One, comparing two individuals on a scale.

Although it’s entertaining for fans, the media often goes overboard with the “best driver” discussion. However, the current world champion, Max Verstappen, is regarded as the finest racer of this era. Meanwhile, the Dutchman gave a classic reply during an interview, quashing every “best driver” debate ever.

“We Should Not Have That Debate,” Max Verstappen’s Classic Reply To “Best Driver” Questions

The Red Bull triple champion replied to one of the questions during an interaction with motorsport content creator Ashley Kalita. The interviewer highlighted the never-ending best driver debate. She also pointed out versatility as a deciding factor in picking the best among the best. However, Verstappen replied with an interesting counter-argument, affirming every driver to be exceptional in their own way. The Dutchman questioned the basis of these online debates, visibly irritated by the concept of comparison. He further explained practice could make a driver excel in every racing sport. Moreover, the Dutch racer feels that his upbringing and early life also impacted the driver, highlighting how go-karting helped him in Formula One.

Additionally, Verstappen acknowledged that he might not perform as well in dirt racing due to his limited experience in that field. Ultimately, he wanted to prove the point that every racer is good in their own field, making the entire comparison baseless. The orange army was impressed by this classic reply, as it shows the maturity of a 26-year-old racer. Earlier, a Nascar racer claimed to be more versatile than Verstappen, drawing plenty of backlash.

Kyle Larson Claims To Be A Better Driver Than Verstappen

NASCAR driver Kyle Larson recently stirred up a conversation with assertive comments about how he measures up against F1 star Max Verstappen. In an interview with Flo Racing, Larson expressed confidence in his versatility across various motorsport disciplines. He suggested that while Verstappen is dominant in Formula 1, he would likely struggle to make the same impact in Larson’s arena. Larson noted that despite Verstappen’s excellence in F1, the Dutch driver would face significant hurdles if he competed in events like the Knoxville Nationals or the Chili Bowl. He hinted that F1’s emphasis on the car’s performance plays a big role in Verstappen’s success, suggesting that without it, Verstappen might not excel in other racing formats.

Larson also mentioned that although he might not be able to win a Formula 1 race, particularly at a high-profile event like Monaco, he believes he would be better equipped to transition between different types of racing than Verstappen. Larson’s remarks have sparked a lively debate among fans, highlighting the stark contrasts between the two drivers’ motorsport worlds.
