Lakers superstar LeBron James stunned the crowd with a storming chase to block Kyrie Irving’s dunk attempt.

Los Angeles Lakers clashed with Dallas Mavericks in a crucial game on Sunday night. The purple and gold were coming off a comfortable win over the Pelicans. Moreover, the matchup had fans’ special attention as LeBron James faced his former Cleveland teammate, Kyrie Irving. This was the first time the duo faced each other after the failed trade deal earlier this month.

   

LeBron James, the leading point scorer in the NBA and the leader of the Lakers, did not back down from a fight. He took Kyrie Irving head-on and outclassed his shot attempt with brilliant game sense. The crowd and his teammates were stunned to see James’ athleticism at the age of 38 and lauded his move. His efforts led the Lakers to a win which ended up being the biggest comeback of the season.

LeBron James, arguably one of the greatest basketball players of all time, has made a career out of making jaw-dropping plays on the court. His athleticism and passion on the court at the age of 38 are lauded by many. Meanwhile, as the Lakers struggled to make it to the playoff this season, LeBron took it upon himself to carry the team despite struggling with consistent injuries. On Sunday, James faced his ex-teammate, Kyrie Irving, and made sure to outclass him with an epic move.

Kyrie Irving received a long pass from the other end of the court and quickly ran to the rim. While the ball almost made it to the dunk, LeBron James came flying out of now where and blocked the shot. Further, replays showed that James anticipated Irving’s attempt and made a long-run chase from the other end, and managed to just reach within the time to block the shot. Moreover, the run was so intense that LeBron could not control his momentum and crashed into the side wall. However, he quickly picked himself up and soaked in the applause from the crowd.

Lakers Edge Past Mavericks In A Last-Second Thriller

The purple and gold made their intentions clear to the world that they would not go down without a fight. They faced Mavericks on Sunday and displayed the true potential of the new lineup. After training from 27 points, the Lakers registered the biggest comeback of the season by winning the game with a scoreline of 111-108. While LeBron James and Anthony Davis scored 26 and 30 points, respectively, Jarred Vanderbilt’s last-minute heroics led the team past the finish line.

The LA Lakers are taking each game head from now on. They simply have no time and games to waste. With just 21 games in hand, Hollywood must move swiftly and cautiously each day. With this new lineup, the fans are seeing a new energy and a sense of belief. The team is confident of a spot in the playoffs, and the fans would want nothing more than a hard fight.
