Draymond Green is a very important member of the Golden State Warriors roster. Without him in a few games this season, the Dubs were lacking a lot defensively. Anyway, the Dub Nation knows the importance of the Splash Brothers in their roster. But when they add Green to the mix, the team sure enjoys an edge over others. After all, the trio of Green, Steph, and Klay has been the key factor behind the Warriors enjoying a modern-day Dynasty status. They won four NBA championships in eight years. However, Kevin Durant was part of the mix as well for a while. With Durant, the Dubs won two titles. But the trio remained constant in those eight years.

However, the Warriors had to suffer a lot because of Green’s antic this year. Very early in the season, the veteran forward received a five-game suspension last November after a heated altercation with Rudy Gobert of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Later, in December, Draymond Green received an indefinite suspension after hitting Jusuf Nurkic of the Phoneix Suns in his face. As a result, he missed almost 12 games on the trot owing to that indefinite suspension. But it has been a while now since he returned to the lineup. Things were going well, more or less, for the Dubs since Green came back until he was part of another questionable move.

Draymond Green Made Another Questionable Move Lately

On Tuesday night, the Warriors faced off against the Miami Heat. During this encounter, Dray Green got extra physical with one of the Heat guards. After Gobert and Nurkic, this time, the victim of Green’s antics was Patty Mills. The Warriors forward was going into the Heat’s defense when he grabbed Mills by his neck and then pulled him down. Later, the referees called it a common foul on the veteran forward.

But ClutchPoints asks if the ref should have upgraded it to a “Flagrant Foul.” Clearly, certain fans think it should have been a Flagrant Foul. One netizen wrote, “Green is so hostile that he hurts players without even trying.” Then, another fan wrote, “Suspend Dray that’s dirty.” It is not a new thing for Dray Green to receive suspensions this season. He has already missed ample game time owing to two big suspensions. If Draymond Green misses more games coming to the fag end of the season, in the end, it’s the Warriors who will suffer.

Nurkic Claims, “Green Needs Help”

After Draymond Green hit Jusuf Nurkic in the face in December during a Phoneix Suns-Golden State Warriors matchup, the victim made nationwide headlines. Nurkic proceeded to say that the Warriors forward “Needs help.” Moreover, Nurkic noted that he was just glad that Green did not choke him. The Suns center was referring to what happened to Gobert a few weeks earlier.

It was the Warriors forward putting Gobert in a chokehold on the floor. But these incidents with Green call for a lot of scrutiny from fans. What happened with Gobert, Nurkic, and lately Patty Mills have nothing to do with each other. But NBA will likely monitor and keep a close look on Green’s behavior.
