Toto Wolff is all set to announce the best version of the Mercedes car after facing porpoising issues in 2022. Not only the porpoising issues but also massive dignity damage has been slapped to Mercedes as Red Bull replaced them from the Formula One throne marking the end of the Mercedes era.

With the worst year that Mercedes passed last year, the only best thing they got is the experience. After facing a defeat in 21 races, the team finally figured out the right path for them, which could lead Lewis Hamilton to clinch his eighth title. Instead of mourning about the almost winless year, Mercedes fans are seeking hopes for a strong comeback in 2023. And, finally, for the fans, there is a piece of good news!

“The Changes Are leading Us To The Right Direction”- Toto Wolff

Toto Wolff has recently revealed the architectural changes that Mercedes are making in order to achieve their standards back in the Formula One standing. Next year not only will Red Bull make the strongest RB19 car, but also Ferrari is launching their “bomb” like an engine with the F1-675 project. Plus, the gap of 16 wins and three wins from Red Bull and Ferrari will remain there as Mercedes is trying to adjust to the new technical regulations while the rivals are mastering them in doing so.

Nevertheless, let’s talk about the changes that Mercedes are bringing to the W14. In the Formula One Beyond the Grid Podcast, Toto Wolff revealed that the team has figured out the need for some of the architecture and layout changes in the 2023 championship single-seater. He believes that the Silver Arrows has solved the underlying bouncing issues of the W13. And thus, in 2023, W14 will definitely not give the bouncing and porpoising issues. Hence, “It is going to be easier in the upcoming season, ” said Wolff.

Toto Wolff Looking Forward To Mercedes 2023 Championship Win With The Changes

In Addition, Toto Wolff claimed that by changing the architecture and the chassis of the car, they would be heading in the “right direction.” However, there is an issue, which is, of course, nothing but the new regulations. Wolff said, ” sometimes when you uncover one problem, you realize there was another underneath.”

Therefore, there is a need to be humble, without feeling a sense of entitlement, that Mercedes is going to get back into this championship. There is just a get-go straight, and the principal is really looking forward to it, as revealed by himself.

And adding another positive tint to the news, one must remember what the team’s chief strategist, James Vowles, has said via the Mercedes YouTube channel. Vowles suggested that Mercedes has come through a huge amount of progress so far. The direction and the path that Silver Arrows are moving forward with are visibly removing the gaps. Whatever is required to win, “Mercedes is working on them, and we are working as a team,” said James Vowles before moving to Williams principal.
