25-year-old generational talent Juan Soto is now officially a Yankee. The New York Yankees traded him last week from San Diego Padres in a blockbuster seven-player exchange. While the Yanks got Soto and Trent Grisham, the Padres received Michael King, Jhony Brito, Randy Vasquez, Drew Thrope, and Kyle Higashioka.

The outfielder smartly responded, saying he is flexible enough to mold as per the team’s needs. “Whatever spot in the lineup, whatever position they want me to play, I’m going to be right there,” said Soto. Having said that, the outfielder also talked about the dynamics of Yankee Stadium’s left-field wall.
He says while the left wall is short, he won’t compromise on his swing to maximize advantage. His approach would stay the same regardless of the venue dynamics.
