“The Lakers Will Get The Job Done At Home” Coach Darvin Ham Sure Of A Comeback Game 6

The Los Angeles Lakers lost another road game to the Memphis Grizzlies, which would mean that there will be a game 6. Coming into game 5, the purple and gold had the opportunity to wrap up the series, but they could not. The Memphis side has been incredibly good at their home all year around this season. The Lakers managed to win game 1 when the rival’s star guard Ja Morant was playing with an injured hand. However, Morant was back with full force in the last game, as he scored 31 points, ten rebounds, and seven assists.

The Grizzlies have been 35-6 while playing in the Fed Ex Forum. And LA was lucky to win the first game on their home court. The Ham’s side has also been lucky because the Grizzlies are missing some major players on the roster. However, the injuries have been a concern for the Lakers side as well, but the players still manage to play. Anthony Davis and LeBron James have both been suffering from injuries this year. Both superstars have pushed themselves in order to lift their teams up. And they will have to do it again if they have to avoid going into game 7.

The Lakers have come down to an interesting curb where if they don’t manage a win, they will have to play another game. And the last game will happen at Fed Ex Forum, which will pose an extreme challenge for the Ham’s team to overcome. Therefore they will have to get their act right and win game 6 to proceed to the next round of the playoffs. LeBron James has proven to be a good player regardless of his injury, but his best is yet to come.

He has vowed to be better, as he was nowhere close to his level in game 5, where he only managed 15 points. It was a horror show watching the four-time champ missing all his three-pointers. Even Anthony Davis was off from him because of his bad performance. Moreover, the 29-year-old has said in the media that he will do anything required to win the next game. AD also said that he would play for 48 minutes if it required him to stay on the court for that long.

“Tonight, I was s**t. And I’ll be better in Game 6,” said LeBron after losing the game 5. Even Ham said that he would be using some players for extra minutes in the next game. It will be clear that the purple and gold would not want to take the fight to the last game. So Ham will have to make a rotation that does the job.

According to the Jovan Buha of The Athletic, coach Darvin is using his coaching meeting to discuss the rotation and bench players. The pressure upon him will be very high, seeing the degree of importance the game holds.
