The Red Devils have orchestrated an incredible comeback in their Premier League season. However, it is still unclear what position the renowned striker Cristiano Ronaldo will play for Erik ten Hag\’s squad. Particularly after the 37-year-underwhelming old\’s performance in the Europa League opener.

As they continue to prepare for their crucial Europa League match against Sheriff, Manchester United players have arrived at Carrington. Ronaldo yearned to join a Champions League team during the summer and wanted to leave Old Trafford. However, he is now putting his all into the practice, given that he plays on Thursday evenings.

Ronaldo Enjoying Practice With Manchester United!

The 2022–23 Premier League season for Manchester United got off to a dismal start. But they have since staged an incredible comeback. The improvement in play has been attributed to manager Erik ten Hag. His personnel and tactical modifications enabled the Red Devils to overcome both Arsenal and their bitter rivals Liverpool. However, there are still questions about how much playing time Cristiano Ronaldo will get in upcoming matches.

Nevertheless, Ronaldo is enjoying whatever time he has with the Red Devils. The Portuguese star recently shared a picture of Manchester United\’s training session on his Instagram account. In the caption, he wrote, \”Starting the week with a good feeling!\”

Ronaldo will be hoping to play in that match after failing to impress in United\’s 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad the previous time they played. Due to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Premier League games were postponed last weekend, giving Ronaldo a weekend off. The storied attacker is currently back in the gym working out with his United colleagues. This season has gotten off to a rough start for the former Real Madrid forward. The Portuguese striker has yet to score or provide an assist in his seven appearances.

Ronaldo\’s current contract has a year remaining with a one-year extension option. Ronaldo was eager to leave Manchester United and join a Champions League team. He had stuck at Erik ten Hag\’s side since there wasn\’t much actual interest in the Portuguese. CR7 was moved to the replacements bench for United\’s past four Premier League games. Thus, his spot in Ten Hag\’s starting XI is not certain. Ronaldo has made seven appearances in 2022–23, five of which have been as a substitute. But has yet to score. Last week, the striker nearly scored with a spectacular header against Real Sociedad, but the offside flag stopped him.
