The Los Angeles Lakers are still missing their most prominent player Anthony Davis, who will likely return soon. The 29-year-old center has been out for over a month, throwing his team under relentless pressure. In his absence, LeBron James and Russell Westbrook had to take care of the team. And every Lakers fan is aware that the reserved point guard does not gell well with the small forward. The problem is not that they both don’t like each other the two players are just not compatible on the court. However, they both did an incredible job of keeping the team floating for the team to have a chance to qualify for the postseason.
The nine-time All-star was performing incredibly before getting hurt in the game against the Denver Nuggets. Anthony Davis led the team when they lost LeBron to an injury, and he was out for two weeks. Since then, Davis has been in a league of his own to start the series with 40-plus points in every game. But the only problem with high-intensity performance on both ends of the court is his likeliness of suffering an injury. The 2020 champ attracts damages faster than he scores points on the board for his team.
Darvin Ham Reveals Anthony Davis Will Make His Return Soon
The Lakers have not been bad without their monstrous superstar, who helped them float without LeBron. But it is also true that the team would receive a definite boost to qualify for the playoffs with his return. Anthony Davis is a crucial part of the team, but his tendency to miss important games costs the organization. But his performances when he is fit and on the court are out of the worldly, which makes him such a valuable asset. And the head coach Darvin Ham has suggested that Hollywood could witness Davis’ return soon.
According to Mark Medina of NBA.com, Anthony Davis performed an individual workout of an hour. And LA’s head coach conveyed to Mark that Davis completed the activity without any pain in his foot. So it won’t be wrong to assume that the nine-time All-star is not far from the court. Before his injury, the 29-year-old was averaging 27.4 points, 12 rebounds, and 2,6 assists. His name also shined in the conversation of the MVP, but his injury would not allow him anymore.
Anthony Davis is aiming to return to the lineup by early February, within a handful of games before the All-Star break 👀

In one month that the 2020 champ has to spend in recovery, he has missed 16 games for the Lakers. Recently his team lost to the Sacramento Kings 116-111. Without Anthony Davis, no one could be an effective force on both ends of the court. However, his return will surely promise Hollywood a certain future this season. The Lakers would not want to waste another season in LeBron’s prime, even after his prime age.
