Real Madrid Is Looking To Acquire Arsenal & Tottenham\’s Target Raheem Sterling For £50M!

Raheem Sterling

Real Madrid suffered a big upset after Kylian Mbappe chose to turn down the Europen club and sat with Paris Saint German after signing a three-year extension with the French football club. Mbappe had been Madrid\’s target for a long time. And the club offered bids up to €200 million in an attempt to bring the 23-year-old to Europe.

After facing a huge disappointment for missing out on Mbappe, Real Madrid is eyeing Arsenal and Tottenham\’s Premier League targets after missing out on Kylian Mbappe. As per Daily Star, the Spanish club wants to acquire Raheem Sterling from Machester City. The news comes as a big blow to Arsenal and Tottenham, who are interested in the City forward too.

Manchester manager Pep Guardiola has used the 27-year-old occasionally. He was not trusted enough to start a game during both the legs of the Champions League semi-final. Thus, Real Madrid might be planning to offer £50m for the Englishman. Raheem is entering the final year of his £350,000 per week deal with the English club.

Moreover, Sterling has scored 17 goals with nine assists in 47 games so far in the 2022 Premier League season, helping Machester City win this year\’s title. The Englishman has shown his interest in playing for Real Madrid in the past. Hence, it would not be a surprise if Raheem decides to move to Europe.

Will Real Madrid Steal Sterling From Arsenal & Tottenham?

Rahim has expressed his love for the Spanish Club on several occasions. He also took an interview with the Spanish outlet AS, with a Real Madrid jersey on his shoulder. Hence, if Real Madrid is serious about taking on Sterling, the Englishman might be interested in making a move.

Further reports suggest that Sterling is interested in joining a major European club. He has no interest in moving to North London. Hence, if Real Madrid sticks their attention to Raheem, it could turn out to be a major upset for Arsenal\’s Mikel Arteta and Tottenham\’s Antonio Conte. However, it will all depend on the Machester City\’s decision if they want to transfer their star forwards, who has been a crucial part of the English club since 2015. However, it seems like the end of the tunnel for Sterling at the City as he looks to secure his career at a renowned club, most preferably European.
