Sir Lewis Hamilton and Toto Wolff had joined the Mercedes team in 2013. That was the beginning of some epic journey that many fans would not believe was possible. The great English racer made his debut with McLaren back in 2007. He had a great rookie season and came very close to winning his maiden title in his debut season. But then, to win his first Driver’s World Championship, he had to wait until next year. In 2008, during his sophomore season, the great British driver made his name heard across F1 following nations as a new champion. But then, he had to wait several seasons to find his way back to the top.

He could not do it with McLaren anymore. Hence, Lewis Hamilton decided to try his luck with the Silver Arrows. But who knew what epic dominating journey Hamilton started to embark on? From 2014 to 2021, Mercedes did not lose one single Constructor’s title. On the other hand, Hamilton won six more Driver’s World Championships, equalling the great Michael Schumacher, and became the most decorated F1 racer of all time. However, this epic 12-year journey had to come to an end when the seven-time champion announced his departure.
