The Los Angeles Lakers had an amazing offseason. They executed their plans brilliantly and got a roster ready that looks pretty strong. Moreover, if the team stays healthy, they can go a long way. Last year, the team struggled with a lot of key players sustaining severe injuries. It cost them pretty badly. They did not have a great start to the last season. But what happened in the second half of the season was nothing short of a miracle.

From nowhere, the Lakers suddenly looked ready to make the postseason, and finally, they did. Moreover, the 17-time champions reached as far as the Western Conference Finals. It was only possible after the front office was able to increase the depth and balance of the roster. For every NBA fan, this offseason is a pretty exciting time because they get to know what will be the lineups for certain teams look like. Recently, Jovan Buha of The Athletic estimated what the Laker’s lineup will look like in the next season.

According to the famous NBA pundit, Darvin Ham will let Rui Hachimura start with the likes of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves, and D’Angelo Russell. After all, the former Washington Wizards player was pretty impressive last season, especially in the playoffs. However, the staggering ability to come and score off the bench that the Gonzaga Product possesses can be a valuable weapon for Ham’s side. It will be intriguing to see how Ham uses this deep roster and chalks out plans every game. Reportedly, the Lakers will also give point guard Gabe Vincent, Max Christie, Jarred Vanderbilt, Taurean Prince, and Christian Wood in the second unit.

Vincent comes from the runners-up team of the last season, the Miami Heat. He is a replacement for the current MVP of the FIBA World Cup, Dennis Schroder. But Vincent proved that he can be strong at defense as well as also has the ability to stretch the floor. Max Christie can turn out to be a breakout star next season like AR was last season. But Christian Wood is also pretty important to the roster. He may not be a great defender, but he might prove valuable as a help to James and davis. Moreover, Wood can run the offense in the second unit.

Later, in the offseason, the Lakers front office planned to keep the core together. They were able to retain Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, D’Angelo Russell, and Jarred Vanderbilt in free agency. On top of that, they have the top stars like LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Adding to that, the Lakers also signed quality players to increase depth, like Taurean Prince, Cam Reddish, and Gabe Vincent.

On top of that, the Lakers have got good youth energy as well, like Jaxson Hayes and Jalen Hood-Schifino. However, for a long time, the LA side was looking for support for AD at the center. There were many options for big men at the center, like Bismack Biyombo and others the Lakers could pick from. But the Lakers opted to sign Christian Wood for a two-year deal. And it makes the Lakers look pretty solid in all departments.
