Formula one Legend Michael Schumacher was born in Hurth, Germany, on January 3, 1969. He comes to form a humble background as his father, Rolf Schumacher, was a construction staffer. Michael grew up with his brother Ralf Schumacher, an F1 racer. He developed a love for racing ever since he was a young child when his father built a go-kart for him.

Michael won his first club championship only at the age of six years. His parents started working extra shifts so that they could support Michael\’s dreams. Meanwhile, at 12, Schumacher got his Karting license in Luxemburg, and he won the German Junior Kart Championship just one year later. Formula Köni and Formula Ford were two lower-level racing series in which Michael Schumacher competed. He was soon chosen in 1990 to compete for the WTS team in the German Formula Three championship. As a member of the Mercedes Junior Racing Program, he participated in the World Sports-Prototype Championship the same year. Schumacher participated in a Formula One race for the Jordan Grand Prix team the next year and came in sixth. He defeated Nelson Piquet to finish sixth in the \”Italian Grand Prix\” that same year.

He entered into a deal with the Benetton squad in the year 1991. The Portuguese Grand Prix was Michael Schumacher\’s lone victory of the year. He competed in the Mexican and Belgian Grand Prix in 1992, taking third and first place, respectively. Michael Schumacher showed some progress with nine victories out of a potential sixteen in 1994.

Michael Schumacher, though, agreed to a deal with Ferrari in 1996. Schumacher failed to claim a single championship from 1996 to 1999. However, he had a very different year in 2000. He initially achieved Formula One Championship success with Ferrari.

Drivers were only permitted to utilize one set of tires for the race duration under the new regulations implemented for the 2005 Formula One season. The Ferrari squad utilized Bridgestone tires, which required regular replacement. He retired for four years, starting after the 2006 Formula One season. When Nico Rosberg, a German racer, joined the Mercedes team in 2010, Michael made a return. He competed in several races. He only scored 72 points, but due to a serious accident in the \”Abu Dhabi Grand Prix,\” he came in ninth place overall.

After that, in 2006, he received the \”FIA Gold Medal for Motor Sport.\” Additionally, the racer was awarded the Bambi Millennium Award and the Officier of the Légion d\’honneur by the French government in 2014.
