Mercedes Ace Lewis Hamilton Revealed How He Moved To Become Non-Alcoholic & Vegan

The seven-time Formula One world champion, Lewis Hamilton, is indeed a humble fellow since the beginning. He is a renowned teetotaler, vegan, millionaire, and GOAT F1 driver today, but can you imagine him being a bartender? Currently, Hamilton has a total net worth of around £230 million (€262m). But there was a time when this gentleman used to work for the minimum wage, for £3.50 (€3.98) per hour.

It always gets interesting when the Mercedes driver comes up with his past story that signifies one of the struggles he made just to become what he is today. Hamilton lives with a lot of encouraging backstories. Once again recently, in a talk with Fox Sports Australia, Lewis Hamilton emerged to reveal the last time he was “hammered” off the track way before activating his hammer time on the track.

Nevertheless, it is known to all that Hamilton belongs to a middle-class family. And dreaming about one of the most expensive sports takes money! So to make his son’s dream come true, Father Hamilton did not prevent him from doing several jobs at a time. Just the fact that Hamilton wanted to help his father financially, he went to a pub, not to drink, but to work! He was 17 at that time, serving drinks to all, never tasting himself.

Lewis Hamilton Opens Up About The Last Time He Was Hammered

For the drinking purpose, like all the people in the world go, Hamilton “have never been into pubs,” he said. But it doesn’t mean he stayed away from the place! “I worked at one when I was 17. I was a bartender,” Hamilton continued. The experience was overall good, but there was a ridiculous part too. He revealed his estimated pay, which is around £230 million (€262m). And then he called the wage amount, which was the minimum wage, to be “something ridiculous or like that.”

However, the fun and the best part of working as a bartender at 17 for Lewis was spending the last day of his work. Serving drinks to others developed a curiosity in the little boy; how do they taste? What do people drink? “what are these drinks that I’ve been giving everyone?” he added. And then came the day when he finally on those. The last day of his being a bartender. He cleaned up the bar and went to try each drink present there! All of them. “A little bit of everything, I tried.

And then what happened is known to his father! Because he was unable to go home on his own. “Absolutely hammered I was,” after trying on everything. Eventually, Lewis’ father, Anthony, had to come to receive him. And that was probably the last time when he was hammered or drunk so much. He avoids drinking and is a complete abstainer now.
