The New York Yankees are lucky to have Juan Soto and Aaron Judge in the same offensive lineup. Even if it might be just for a year. But these are the two best power-hitters of the league. If they can stay healthy and in fine form, they can carry the team to the ‘Big Dance.’ Moreover, the way the NY side started their campaign this season, they became one of the top contenders to make the World Series. However, back in April, the captain of the Bronx Bombers was going through an early season slump. Despite Judge’s struggles, the team maintained a streak of winning series.

The credit for that goes to Juan Soto, as he has been the most impactful since the season started. He even won the Player of the Month back in April. However, then, from May, it has been a complete Aaron Judge show. The Yankees slugger took seven games to hit his first home run this year. But coming to the end of June, Judge is leading the list of most home runs so far in the league. Lately, his partner in baseball crime said it is great to bat in front of him.

Recently, in an interview with Jon Heyman of The New York Post, Juan Soto mentioned that it is really nice to hit in front of the 2022 AL MVP. He added that Aaron Judge makes his job easier. Moreover, Soto hopes that he can make Judge’s job easier too. In the case of on-base percentage, the Dominican slugger leads the league. Over 77 games, Juan Soto has a .431 on-base percentage. Aaron Judge ranks right behind his partner in baseball crime. The Yankees captain has a .425 OBP. This duo leads the league in terms of walks as well. Juan Soto has 64, whereas Aaron Judge has 59 this season. Currently, the Judge-Soto duo has powered the Bronx Bombers to the top of their division.

Before Tuesday, the AL East toppers are 52-28. Recently, Aaron Boone told Bryan Hoch of MLB.com that the Judge-Soto duo is the best one-two punch a team can expect to have. A great left-right combo that gets on base and clicks over .400 each. Moreover, the manager said both these guys have such great power. Most importantly, Boone believes Aaron Judge and Juan Soto really complement each other very well. They are two great “All-round players.” Boone can’t think of any other better one-two punch.

Lately, Juan Soto echoed what a few weeks ago, Aaron Judge told about him. The Yankees captain had said that the new superstar in the team makes his work a lot easier as he always gets on base. Excluding the month of April, this duo has really complemented each other well since then.

No wonder the NY side has one of the best offensive lineups in the league. Looking at the chemistry of this duo and their performance, the Yankees Faithful starts to believe that the 28th World Series win might not be far away now.
