Formula One 2023 Pre-Season Testing runs will be starting on Thursday. All ten teams have already unveiled their car with surprising innovations and heading for the three-day test run at the Bahrain International course. Meanwhile, Mercedes is preparing to create a fantastic plan for splitting the time. This will help them find out the grey area of the black livery W14 car. Both Lewis Hamilton and George Russell have admitted that the new Mercedes car is way better than the W13. But is it better enough to fill the gap left between Red Bull and Ferrari?

The German motor brand is heading to the Bahrain pre-season running with hopes of seeing no faults in the 2023 F1 challenger. But if some parts give up being strong, Mercedes will definitely change it before the season begins. This time the Silver Arrows want to remain under no risk. And so, even the side pod design that was not at all responsible for the W13’s failure may undergo alteration if found inappropriate in the test runs.

However, speaking of the plans Mercedes has set for the three days pre-season drives of W14, they have split the duration equally for both drivers. At first, the newcomer, the pride-saver of Mercedes last year, the 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix winner, George Russell, will get the chance to sit in the brand new Mercedes car for the official F1 test run. The morning sessions on Thursday will be covered by Russell. However, the seven-time world champion will take the wheels of the W14 in the afternoon sessions in Bahrain.

Mercedes Not Following Red Bull’s Plan For Bahrain Test Run

On the second day of the Bahrain pre-season test, Lewis Hamilton will cover the morning sessions and Rusell afternoon. And then, on Saturday, the last day of the official test run will be started by George and end with the 103 GP winner. Meanwhile, the reigning champion team is planning nothing, Mercedes. Red Bull has decided to set a day for one driver. Each day for Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.

Lewis Hamilton, who was beaten by his own teammate in 2022 by 34 points, is trying to announce a strong comeback this year. He has assured fans that whatever happened last year won’t get repeated. The only thing that Hamilton wants to remember from last year is “the long run pace” that was very strong in the Silver Arrows.

Hamilton, who denied driving the W13 even for one more time. He claimed it to be the “worst and undrivable.” Although he still believes that there is something they can learn from it. He said, “Our pace was always stronger. This is probably the only element that the team really wants to carry into the 2023 F1 campaign.”

Lewis Hamilton is currently running the last year of his Mercedes contract. But fans can hope t see a new contract coming his way soon. Believing the Sportune, we can say that Hamilton is staying for more than two years.
