Lewis Hamilton is getting defeated by the Red Bull driver Max Verstappen for the past two years. What if Max beats Lewis once again in 2023? Will it be justified to say that Hamilton’s dominance is over and it is time for Verstappen to reign? Apparently, the seven-time world champion is worried about the possibilities that may lead him to face the same defeat as the 2022 Formula One season also in 2023.
Hamilton is already 38 now, he has got only two years left before he enters his forties era which he kind of does not want to engage in driving. In these two years, Hamilton has got a target to achieve. To break the world record set by the legend Michael Schumacher. Hamilton already stands neck to neck, now he is just one championship away from breaking that stunning record.
After passing a disastrous season last year, a year with no wins, no poles, no dignity, and no luck, Lewis Hamilton is kind of being realistic. Apparently, he is not much optimistic about the 2023 Championship win. Recently on 23rd January in the ON Purpose podcast conducted by Jay Shetty, Lewis Hamilton revealed several life secrets.
Some of his words directly refer to his future F1 wins which are in danger maybe because of the 25-year-old Red Bull star who became a back-to-back world champion last year. Speaking with Shetty, Hamilton revealed the concerns that may stop him from becoming the same world champion as before in the future.
“I Always Want Others Around Me To Win,” Said Lewis Hamilton.
Lewis Hamilton explained, there are people in the world who feels like he has seven titles already, what is more, what he needs? But there are days in his life when he himself asks, “Have you still got it, can you still be the best?”. He said that he often has this type of conversation in his mind. There are days when the Briton feels like he is not enough, “I often feel like I am Not good enough,” he said. But the remembers what his father used to say.
Anthony Hamilton always helped his son stay grounded and dedicated to the work he has been handed over. He never let Hamilton damage his motivation and negative thoughts enter his stop. Speaking about his father, Lewis Hamilton revealed, “Sometimes when I will say something not so positive then my father will be the one there just reaffirming, “Lewis, you have got this belief in yourself.”
Hamilton believes that the way his father used to have his back emotionally is very important for everyone to have. “People like that around you are really important,” he said. One of the secrets that Lewis revealed during the ON Purpose podcast is surrounding himself with only positive people. The seven-time world champion believes that our job always includes lifting up others. He never feels jealous of the other drivers who win. Lewis Hamilton always wants others around him to win and become the version of themselves.
