In a 20 minutes appearance, the 38-year-old scored 21 crucial points, which resulted in a much-needed victory for the purple and gold. James also looked fine despite injury concerns. The veteran missed the whole week due to a foot injury and returned with limited appearance.

After last night’s win, Lakers star forward LeBron James spoke to the media and shared his feelings. The veteran missed the previous three games due to a foot injury after being crowned as the leading point scorer of the NBA against the Thunder. Moreover, King James scored 21 points against Pelicans yesterday.

Meanwhile, LeBron James shared his views regarding the Lakers’ latest trade acquisition. The purple and gold welcomed D’Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt, Malik Beasley and Mo Bamba into the lineup through trade last week. Speaking of the same, James lauded the front office for the trade moves and said they did a good job. Further, the veteran admitted that the newcomers would need some time to gel in. But he respects the group as they have played at the highest level for the past few years. Lastly, James listed positive attributes of each one of the newcomers and spoke in length about the same.

“Right now, I like the guys we got coming in. I know they play the game at a high level,” said LeBron James.

King James Rebuts Injury Concerns After Latest MRI Reports

LeBron James shared positive updates on his foot injury yesterday after the win against the Pelicans. James, who benched himself for the whole week, said the latest MRI reports are normal, with no stress, fracture or broken bone in the foot. LeBron further elaborated, saying the foot had minimal damage and needed a little rest. The 38-year-old added that last week’s rest helped the foot heal quickly.

The veteran has time and again expressed his desire to continue playing for a few more years.
