The Los Angeles Lakers have gone through half of the league games and still sit in the bottom half of the Western Conference. They have incredibly suffered due to the problems inside the team which has caused them to go through the league without adjustment. The front office is also not willing to make required trades as they did in the past. However, without making the appropriate adjustments to the team the Lakers will continue to suffer.

Hollywood has made various inquiries in the market looking for a favorable player to increase their chances of the playoffs. But LA’s administration has been very reluctant to take risks this season because of the disastrous start to the season. But if the Lakers decide to skip the season it will be a waste for the 38-year-old superstar LeBron James.

The Lakers defeated Portland Blazers to secure their second consecutive victory after throwing away games in the second half. Even though the team is without its marquee player Anthony Davis, they are doing their best to avoid missing the postseason. However, if the Lakers repeated the last season’s misfortune, then LeBron James will be the most affected individual on the team.

LeBron James & Anthony Davis

Last season Lakers became the reason for the 18-time All star’ to miss the first-ever playoffs in his 20-season career. LeBron has also mentioned his frustration in various interviews as well. However, LA does not seem to care much about the sentiments of an individual who is also one of the greatest in the NBA. Meanwhile, King James has news to share about their most awaited Anthony Davis back to the court.

Anthony Davis’ Return Is Closer Than People Think, Reveals LeBron James

The Lakers are playing decent ball without their enthusiastic center but the time he steps in is going to be a different level. Before leaving the court on December 16 he was one of the best NBA was witnessing. The 29-year-old was not just leading his team to sensational wins, he was shattering records made years ago scoring consecutive 40-plus points. However, AD’s injury has now kept him out for more than a month.

Meanwhile, LeBron James recently mentioned Davis’ return after scoring huge 37 points against the Blazers. It seems Davis is making great progress as he is performing workouts with a pain-free schedule. Regardless King James does not seem to be excited.

In his interview, LeBron said he does not want to get too excited as his main aim is still to win games. James wants AD to take as much time as he needs to come back. Davis is an injury-prone athlete and the team would not want his departure as soon as he arrives. With that said the Lakers still need a player who can rock both ends of the court. And the Lakers could get their best player back to speed at the end of January. LA needs all the boost they could get before the start of the All-star weekend.
