The Los Angeles Lakers look good for a while before heading back to their pathetic form. The game against the arch-rival Los Angeles Lakers was another disaster for the team. It was supposed to be a necessary win for the Lakers to proceed and secure their playoff spot in the league. Instead, the Clippers beat them in a comfortable and humiliating way with a massive points difference. The loss of 115-133 was LA’s 26th defeat in their 2022-23 season campaign. And it made LeBron James sit with a shock on his face in the last minutes of the fourth quarter.
It is not the first time the Lakers have seen the face of defeat with such an extent of humiliation. However, it is past the midpoint in the league, and LeBron James is tired of running the show on his own. It is not the first time that he has not received any support from the rest of his teammates. However, it is not that the teammates do not want to try. But they are not at the same level as King. This lack of a supporting cast is the problem caused by an ignorant front office.

LeBron James Seems To Have Lost It This Time
Any athlete would be upset seeing how things turned out on Tuesday for the Lakers. Individual performance with a massive 46 points with a career-high nine 3-pointers was rewarded with a humiliating loss. However, the Lakers superstar LeBron James has witnessed the disaster since the season began. Last night became another historic night for the King as he scored at least 30 points against all 30 teams. And it was his first time to deliver a performance of a 30-plus points against the Los Angeles Clippers.
His team displayed average performance when LeBron James struggled all over the court to give his all for the win. It seems like LeBron hurried to sign the extension with the Lakers. The four-time NBA champion is already 38 and would want to end his career with a championship legacy. However, his team does not reflect a ray of light like a champion team. And the front office also does not show any urgency in making changes before it’s too late for a comeback. Meanwhile, the only hope that the Lakers fan has now is Anthony Davis‘s return.
Even the return of the 29-year-old monster does not guarantee a comeback. But there is still no certain date to mark Davis’ return. However, he will likely return at the end of January, or the first week of Feb. Until then, LeBron James will have to burden the weight of the whole team. Meanwhile, the 38-year-old continues to close in on Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s record.
